I finally got around to doing some colours for this little drawing. Here's two versions. I prefer the less rich one, but I suspect I'm in the minority there. (incidentally, this is my 150th post!)

Matt beat me to the tree nymph punch, but it's ok. We can both love trees at the same time. There's enough tree love for everybody.

PS I'm doing some live drawing at the launch of the Cork MidSummer festival tomorrow with Stephen. It's going to be really good, I promise. And I might even remember to take photographs this time.

rhododendrons

^^^^^ here's something scribbly I did because rhododendrons are amazing. I couldn't choose between colour versions of the below, so here's the final two. I might be erring too far on the side of caution in terms of colour saturations (especially considering the saturation of the woods these are based on) but I couldn't strike a good super-saturated balance D:
